Message from the HOA Board RE: Snow Removal

The HOA Board held a meeting Monday to discuss the issues and concerns brought to our attention

about the snow removal process from the last snowfall. We sent an email, and discussed with the contractor,
the complaints we received and our expectations for future snow removal.

1. Our driveways should be cleared so that they are passable for cars. All walkways to the

units should be cleared. We requested that Outdoor Expressions have  someone walk around

the development before they leave and make sure ALL walkways and driveways were cleared

of snow. If a driveway or walkway is missed please CALL  Jaden at Outdoor Expressions,

717-712-4923 . Hopefully you can call them to return to your address while they are still

in the development working.

2. The common sidewalks should be cleared well enough that they are passable for pedestrians.

3. Snow melt will be spread where the contractor thinks it is necessary. Everyone should have

a bag of snowmelt in their garage. The snow and ice repeatedly melt and refreeze, and we

can not have the contractor come back to apply more snowmelt. As homeowners we are

responsible for keeping our walkways  and driveways safe for delivery people, and for our own safety.

4. Homeowners who live on the eyebrows should consider purchasing tall reflector stakes to

place at the edge of their grass so that the plow truck operator can tell how far in to plow.

5. It would help the contractor if homeowners would put their outside lights on if snow removal

is necessary at night. If your snow has been removed you can turn off your lights.

Hopefully the requests we have made to Outdoor Expressions, and cooperation and

understanding from our residents, will make the next  snow removal process easier.

Please remember everyone can not be first. Please be patient!

Regards,

Karen
HOA President
